The Good Life Pet Lodge is committed to providing you and your pet(s) with the best service and care we can offer.  We emphasize on the importance of health and safety of every pet in our care.  Therefore, you should know who is taking care of your pet(s) to make sure it is up to your standards! 

So who are we?........I (Lizz) was born and raised in Portland, OR and set out for the college experience in beautiful Anchorage, AK.  I graduated with a degree in Marine Biology and set my sights on working at The Alaska Zoo shortly after.  There, I learned more about hands on animal behavior, training and husbandry and caring for animals of all types.  After 5 years I was ready for something more.  I moved onto working for Animal Control as an Enforcement Officer.  I worked my way up the ranks from Sergeant to Captain, helping animals and educating pet owners on proper animal care.

After spending 20+ years in Alaska and meeting the man of my dreams, I realized it was time to head back down to the lower 48.  We made our way to Texas, the land of oil and gas with our dogs Roo and Fritz and little kitty cat CleoCatra as our co-pilots.  There I ran a successful dog boarding and daycare facility where I gained the knowledge of the business side of things.  We enjoyed life there for about 3 years and decided it was time to move closer to home and start our own business.  

So here we are! Back in the Pacific Northwest building our own business with 20+ years of animal experience to give your pet the best care possible!  We are excited to see what lies ahead and can't wait to meet you and your pet(s)!
